Under the theme – Strategy, Execution, Results – the conference features inspiring keynotes from HR industry gurus Cathy Missildine-Martin and Lizz Pellet, and is focused on helping customers leverage and extend their Halogen Software solutions for maximum results.

Conference highlights include:

– Blogger panel on “Tools to Attract and Retain Your All-Star Talent Pool”

– Pre-conference Job Description Boot Camp, led by industry expert Dr. Gordon Medlock of HRIZONS

Cathy Missildine-Martin, a much sought-after speaker and expert in strategic Human Resources Management will open the conference with her keynote: HR’s 5 Most Important Roles in Managing Talent. “HR is uniquely positioned to play five key roles in translating business strategy into workforce needs and in linking people with profits,” said Cathy Missildine-Martin, Principal and Co-Founder of Intellectual Capital Consulting. “I’m excited to discuss these roles with attendees who have been working with Halogen to make significant and tangible contributions to their company’s results and success through strategic talent management.”

Lizz Pellet, Chief Cultural Officer of EMERGE International, author of the SHRM publication The Cultural Fit Factor, How to Create an Employment Brand to Attract, Retain and Repel the Right Employee, and a fellow at Johns Hopkins University will close the conference with her keynote: Talent Management Collaboratory. “My keynote will be an interactive discussion where attendees can volunteer their career sites for a real-time review of how well they align their employment brand to their organizational culture,” said Lizz Pellet. “I think Halogen has put together a great line up where their customers can actively participate in the sessions and take home practical insight that can be put to use immediately.”

Halogen Software customers are encouraged to begin submitting speaking proposals as well as nominations for the fourth annual Bright Lights Awards, which are presented at the conference and honor successes in implementation, culture and bottom line results.
