SilkRoad technology, inc., a leading provider of social talent management solutions, today announced it ended 2011 with continued global customer growth through new and expanded implementations.  New Life Suite customers and implementations include Micro Focus International, Clear Channel Communications, Inc., Spinal Injuries Association, Project Concern International, Standard Coffee Service Company, Scania, Randstad France, Shine Lawyers and RPM Mortgage.  In addition, the fourth quarter saw increased adoption across key industries, such as healthcare. Top providers making SilkRoad their talent management partner of choice included CareCentrix, GetWellNetwork, Inc. and Brooks Rehabilitation.  With five million global Life Suite users, SilkRoad helps companies of all industries and sizes improve recruiting and onboarding efforts while building an empowered employee culture through performance, learning and HRMS solutions.

Highlights from the Quarter:

Expanding Existing Customer Implementations – Also in the fourth quarter, existing customers including Kearney & Co. and Ciena Corporation, added additional solutions to its Life Suite implementations.  Kearney & Co., a CPA firm, is a long-term Red Carpet and Wing Span customer that added OpenHire to automate its hiring processes.  Ciena Corporation, a multi-national provider of network solutions and also a Red Carpet customer, added OpenHire to streamline its global recruiting efforts.

HR Technology Conference – SilkRoad made a large splash at HR Tech with the announcement of SilkRoad Point.  Available in the first half of 2012, Point is a new social enterprise solution that gives employees the forum they need to share and be recognized for their expertise, while simultaneously helping companies identify highest performers and solve pressing business challenges.

Third-Party Recognition – In the fourth quarter, McLean & Company, a division of Info-Tech Research Group, ranked SilkRoad in the Champion quadrant for both its Talent Acquisition and Learning Management Solution Vendor Landscapes.  SilkRoad’s OpenHire was recognized for its commitment to creating the finest end-user experience.  In addition, GreenLight’s robust features led McLean & Company to recognize SilkRoad as an exemplary best-of-breed solution for small- to mid-sized companies.

Industry Validation – SilkRoad was recognized by the NCTA 21 Awards for its superior customer service experience in the implementation and deployment of its cloud-based talent management solutions.  In addition, SilkRoad was named one of the 2011 Triad Top Workplaces, which recognizes the most progressive companies based on employee opinions.
