Ceridian Corporation, a leading provider of payroll, tax filing, benefits, human resources, workforce management andrecruiting software and solutions, announces the completion of its acquisition of Dayforce Corporation, a leading cloud Human Capital Management software and services solution provider. The acquisition concludes Ceridian’s initial investment in Dayforce, announced February 2011. During the first 14 months of partnership, Ceridian and Dayforce have enjoyed phenomenal success delivering the industry’s best workforce management solution, while expanding the Dayforce HCM application into both HR Self-Service and Payroll.
“The acquisition of Dayforce is about fulfilling Ceridian’s vision: To create the industry’s next generation SaaS-based HCM solution,” commented Stuart C. Harvey, Jr., Ceridian’s chief executive officer and president. “When we began working with Dayforce, we believed that by combining Ceridian’s large customer base and established sales and service support capabilities with Dayforce’s leading-edge technology capabilities and solutions, great things would happen. The response to our solution in the marketplace has fulfilled that vision.”
“With our combined efforts, we have sold more than 500 new workforce management solutions,” said David Ossip, president of the newly created Ceridian Dayforce division. “Customers and industry analysts are recognizing the power an HCM application with One Employee Record, One User Experience, and No Interfaces has to improve client business processes.” Nucleus Research recently awarded Ceridian Dayforce with the highest usability and functionality scores among today’s workforce management solutions.
The Ceridian Dayforce HCM solution will provide companies with innovative capabilities and a leading user experience across Workforce Management, HR Self-Service, Payroll, and Benefits in 2012. Talent Management and Compensation & Performance Management will follow in 2013. Ceridian looks forward to partnering with new and existing clients to deliver a solution that will improve workforce performance, reduce processing time and increase profitability across the enterprise.
