Cornerstone OnDemand (NASDAQ:CSOD), a global leader in cloud-based talent management software solutions, today announced that it has again been named a “Leader” in IDC’s latest Integrated Talent Management MarketScape report. The evaluation is based on a comprehensive and rigorous framework that assesses vendors relative to the criteria and one another and highlights the factors expected to be the most influential to success in the market, both short and long term.

“With strong functional capabilities, true multitenant SaaS for scalability and solid customer references, Cornerstone OnDemand is once again a leader in this analysis,” Lisa Rowan, program director of HR, learning and talent strategies at IDC, states in the 2012 report. “Strengths include very high scores in customer service, depth of capability of individual modules, cost appropriateness and timeliness of releases.”

IDC defines talent management as those functions that serve to attract, develop, reward and retain the workforce, with functionality for recruiting and staffing, learning and development, performance management, compensation management, and career and succession planning. According to the report, an escalating level of importance for all of these talent management functions is driving greater demand for integrated suites from a single vendor.

“Our clients benefit from seamless integration of features and functionality, as well as a unified interface, because our solution is pure SaaS and built on a single code base,” said Charles Coy, senior director of analyst and community relations for Cornerstone OnDemand. “While other vendors remain distracted with ERP acquisitions and consolidation of products and services, Cornerstone is focused on advancing and evolving its solutions to align with the ways organizations of all sizes use technology to engage, enable and empower their people. A recent example of our innovation is the addition of the Cornerstone Recruiting Cloud to our organically developed software suite.”
