Ultimate Software Receives 2013 Informatica Award for Innovation in Cloud Integration
WESTON, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Ultimate Software (Nasdaq: ULTI), a leading cloud provider of people management solutions, announced today that it has been named a winner of the 2013 Informatica Innovation Awards in the Cloud Integration category for its launch of the UltiPro Carrier Network — a centralized integration hub that powers data exchange and management for Ultimate Software’s customers.
The winners were announced at Informatica World 2013, Informatica’s annual data integration showcase and user conference, which took place at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, NV.
The UltiPro Carrier Network enables data exchange using pre-built ‘connectors’ between UltiPro, Ultimate’s cloud-based human capital management solution, and third-party benefits providers. The UltiPro Carrier Network delivers an extensive catalog of configurable templates for connecting to commonly used providers in the marketplace without the burden of having to build and support custom integrations. Ultimate Software has already seen significant business benefits from the UltiPro Carrier Network, including cutting integration project duration times by 50%, reducing technical debt, and increasing customer satisfaction.
The Informatica Innovation Awards honor organizations that have achieved exemplary return on data through their use of the Informatica platform and demonstrated leadership in using Informatica solutions to drive business success. Results include new revenues at lower cost, forging stronger and more profitable customer relationships, ensuring competitive differentiation for the business, and more.
“Using Informatica’s leading data-integration technology, the UltiPro Carrier Network delivers a better, more efficient experience for our customers,” said Bill Hicks, chief information officer at Ultimate Software. “Ultimate believes in creating a technology experience driven by the needs of people, and Informatica’s technology is helping us achieve this. We are pleased to have Informatica as our partner and extremely honored to have received this recognition.”
Individual winners were selected from Informatica’s more than 5,000 customers and recognized in 11 award categories. Some categories include B2B Data Exchange, Enterprise Data Integration, Data Quality, Master Data Management, and Cloud Integration. “Informatica has been a great partner to Ultimate Software throughout this initiative, and we plan to extend the relationship by delivering additional packaged templates to our customers for connections to more third-party applications,” said Hicks. “Informatica and Ultimate have a mutual goal — to help businesses better serve their own people by choosing providers based on the unique needs of their organization rather than having to adapt their business to work around technology hurdles. This award affirms the value of our partnership, and we look forward to strengthening our relationship in the in future.”
