HRchitect Tech Vendor News: Western Financial Group Selects WorkForce Software to Improve Time and Labor Practices

New Client Win Highlights WorkForce Software’s Growth in Canadian Market and Increasing Business Opportunities from Strategic Partnerships

LIVONIA, Mich. (October 10, 2013) – WorkForce Software, the leading provider of workforce management solutions for organizations with complex labor policies and stringent compliance demands, today announced that Western Financial Group (Western), a diversified insurance company, has chosen WorkForce Software’s EmpCenter® workforce management solution to better manage its rapidly growing employee base.

Western is currently in a phase of robust growth, propelled by strong demand for its services and strategic acquisitions. As the company continues to expand its footprint, it recognized the need to implement core systems that scale along with its addition of new offices and employees. Having recently implemented the cloud-based Core HR solution, Employee Central, of WorkForce Software’s partner SuccessFactors, an SAP Company, the company sought a complementary workforce management solution to support its corporate initiatives and create a unified view of HR and workforce data across more than 160 locations.

In the review of enterprise solutions, WorkForce Software’s EmpCenter stood out for its ability to meet Western’s exact requirements without customization or bolt-on products. In addition, EmpCenter’s prepackaged and maintained integrations to Employee Central, and the experience between the two providers to support real-time integration, were also chief considerations.

“As our company pursued an aggressive expansion plan, it was essential that we had a robust workforce management solution that could grow along with us and provide the enterprise-wide view of our teams across locations,” said Peter Stratton, executive vice president of Human Resources at Western. “By partnering with a well established provider in WorkForce Software, and selecting a product that tightly integrates with our core HR system, we are confident that this investment positions us well for the next chapter of our growth.”

“Across industries, the ability to gain greater visibility into labor data across the enterprise, while providing employees with a time and attendance solution that is easy to access and simple to use, can lead to significant competitive advantage,” said Mercedes Ellison, senior vice president, Global Cloud Ecosystem and Channels, SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud. “We are pleased that our partnership with WorkForce Software and the integration of Employee Central Core HR provides clients like Western Financial Group with a complete HR system of record in the cloud to support their entire employee lifecycle, simplify legal compliance and drive business execution.”

“We are pleased that Western Financial Group has selected EmpCenter to consolidate its time and labor practices, and we look forward to helping the company further advance its workforce strategies through automation,” said Kevin Choksi, CEO and co-founder of WorkForce Software. “Our engagement with Western not only highlights our growth in the Canadian market, it also exemplifies the new opportunities gained through our network of strategic partners.”
