CHELMSFORD, Mass., April 7, 2014 – Kronos Incorporated today announced that Callaway Golf Company, a leading manufacturer of premium golf equipment, has selected its solutions deployed in the Kronos Cloud to globally standardize workforce management processes.
- Callaway Golf selected Kronos time and attendance and absence management applications to accurately collect employee time-worked data and minimize compliance risks associated with leave laws. The Kronos solution will integrate with Callaway Golf’s SAP ERP system, improving the overall accuracy of labor data entering the ERP system.
- Callaway Golf is deploying the Kronos applications in the Kronos Cloud, allowing Kronos to perform all configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and support of the workforce management solution. This will enable the manufacturer to focus more on business operations while keeping costs down, as it won’t require additional IT resources.
- For improved efficiency, Callaway Golf also selected mobile applications from Kronos – available on both smartphones and tablets – making it easier for managers and employees to complete a wide range of workforce-related tasks from any location, at any time. The instant visibility and mobility on labor-related issues while on-the-go will particularly benefit Callaway Golf’s population of field-based employees.
- Callaway Golf chose Kronos to replace a payroll service bureau it previously used, as Kronos can easily and effectively support the global needs of multinational organizations as well as provide local, region-specific knowledge and support. In addition, the previous payroll service bureau could not fully automate and handle union-specific requirements – a process now automated and simplified by Kronos.
