This New Offering Creates An Additional Access Point To Counseling For LifeWorks Customers
Minneapolis, MN, July 8, 2014 – Ceridian announces that LifeWorks – a comprehensive EAP, Work-Life and Wellness program – now offers video counseling for Employee Assistance Program participants who are unable to attend EAP sessions in-person. Concerns about stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and parenting skills – deemed appropriate for referral to in-person EAP sessions – can now be addressed through the use of video counseling.
“Video counseling is a valuable and convenient tool for accessing EAP services that can have a positive impact on individuals, their family and their community at large,” says Mary Jane Konstantin, senior vice president of LifeWorks, Ceridian. “We’ll be able to reach people in rural areas, those who have long commutes and those whose situations make it difficult for them to attend face-to-face counseling sessions. All sessions are private, confidential and secure and meet the same level of service excellence as a face-to-face referral.”
Video counseling through LifeWorks EAP is accessible to couples, families, partners or spouses and children of employees of eligible EAP program participants.
LifeWorks Video EAP is made possible by working with Arcadian Telehealth technology.
“Arcadian has developed a national network of experienced video enabled clinicians who deliver high quality, high impact TeleEAP services,” says Rob Plotkin, owner of Arcadian Telehealth. “Clients can easily access video counseling in the comfort and privacy of their own home or office via their laptop, PC, MAC, iPad or iPhone. While office visits will always remain an EAP counseling option, TeleEAP should now be a component of any EAP offering. We are proud to partner with Ceridian to deliver this service.”
