Advanced Personnel Systems, Inc. (APS), the makers of SmartSearch®, an industry-leading applicant tracking system and recruiting business software solution, teams up with subject matter experts to present a series of best practices webinars in 2011. These informative, topical webcasts are presented as a value-added service for users of SmartSearch, and are open to members of the human resources and recruiting community.

Best Practices for Managing a Multi-Generational Workforce will be presented on March 24, 2011. This program looks at how employers can leverage the knowledge, skills and abilities of the modern U.S. workforce which typically includes members of four generations: Seniors, Boomers, Generation X and the Millennials. Industrial psychologists, human resources professionals, and organizational behaviorists agree it’s essential to know and understand the values held by different generations in order to engage employees, and predict employee behavior in order to maximize productivity. The webcast covers national workforce trends, takes a fresh look at ‘Generations Theory’ and how it’s changing, and discusses how to avoid generational conflicts in the workplace. Registration for this free webinar is open through March 23 https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/851565106
